Masters of Timetabling

We are looking to appoint inspirational Timetable consultants to our growing team of Timetable consultants across the UK and Ireland. This is a unique opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher , Deputy Headteacher or current / retired / semi-retired Headteacher with at least two years’ whole school timetabling experience, who would like to further develop their leadership experience by moving into consultancy to impact schools across the UK and Ireland. 

 

  • Job outline

 

The role involves demonstrating, training and constructing timetables for schools to increase flexible working practices, reduce teacher workload and stress and improve educational outcomes for pupils. The post holder will have the opportunity for full-training on our range of timetabling solutions and work alongside an experienced consultant to build their  confidence, skills and experience supporting a cluster of schools in either 1) London & South East, 2) Bristol & South West, 3) Newcastle & North East, or 4) Dublin & Ireland, and we welcome applicants living in each of these locations as we grow and expand our increasing support for schools, striving for excellence in all that we do.

Although our Headquarters is in Bristol, the role will be mostly located at the post holder’s home, in the field at client schools, and report to our HQ on a weekly / fortnightly basis to share resources, knowledge and support.

Someone who enjoys helping people and can empathise with clients responsible for timetables because they have done it themselves. 

Strong soft skills including communication, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, critical observation, conflict resolution and leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum QTS and undergraduate degree. 

Ideally, Master’s degree and/or NPQH.

Experience

Minimum two years in Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Headteacher.

Minimum two years’ whole school timetabling experience.
