MAMA.codes is a parent-powered and fast-growing EdTech startup offering unique creative coding resources and workshops for children aged 3-11,through popular local term-time code clubs and holiday workshops. We are proud to have taught well over 3500 children to date, and are pleased we need more teachers to match demand!
We are looking for Freelance Tutors – and don’t worry, we will train you for free so you are armed with this key 21st century skill to add to your experience. We’re also passionate about nurturing our teacher community, with regular socials so we all get to know and support each other.
You need to have real practical experience, and/or a qualification in teaching or managing groups of young children, as well as in the delivery of a class. Through our teaching academies with charities and schools, we will teach you how to deliver our bespoke curriculum with a blend of on- and offline activities in each class so you are empowered to create a truly holistic learning experience for your children.
The classes take place in community code clubs, at school venues and in host families’ homes. Recently, we have begun successfully trailing video tutoring to meet parent demand, so through our robust training programme you can earn at home as well as in class, and all around your personal schedule.
We have incredible demand for physical classes across N.London (from Finchley to Islington and Hapmstead), to Kingston and S.London (Clapham/Battersea/Wandsworth/
