What we do
Yes Futures provides a coaching and personal development programme for students aged 8-16, coaching them either individually, or in small groups, to develop confidence, resilience, communication and self reflection, through a structured personal development framework.
What we are looking for
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to be an integral part of the Yes Futures programmes as a Yes Futures Coach, working with primary or secondary school students across London, East Anglia or the South.
Coaching experience is not necessary as full training is provided. For us commitment and enthusiasm is essential. If you have a proactive attitude and feel excited and committed to Yes Futures’ vision of helping young people become confident, resilient and lead fulfilling lives, then we want to hear from you!
Coaching runs from September 2019 – February 2020.
What does the programme look like:
Welcome Session (2 hours, usually after school)
x5 Coaching Sessions in school (up to 5 hours, during school time)
x2 Trip Days: Play Your Part and World of Work (full school day)
The three-day Into the Wild Residential Trip (Friday morning – Sunday afternoon)
All sessions are run on weekdays during school term time, with the exception of the residential trip which takes place over a weekend.
We provide all of your school’s dates in advance and we try to work around your current schedule and availability as much as possible.
You will be required to attend a training day in September, details of which will be shared upon successful application.
By joining Yes Futures you’ll gain:
An opportunity to make a real impact on a young person’s life
A supportive and friendly network

David, Yes Futures Coach
“Being a Yes Futures coach has been a brilliant experience for me – having the opportunity to work with and see the impact you have on critical life skills for these children is very rewarding. I would highly recommend it!”
Tom, Yes Futures Coach
“Volunteering with Yes Futures gave me the opportunity to gently encourage young people to step out of their comfort zone, and seeing their genuine glee – after doing things that they never imagined they could – made it all completely worth it. It’s fulfilling and it’s fun – do it!!”
Liam, Yes Futures Coach
